STUDIES AND DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN FOR HIGHWAY PROJECT CONNECTION GROUP VI RIO MAGDALENA 2
The routes covered by this tender have an estimated 144 kilometers and its route runs entirely in the department of Antioch.
Remedios – Vegachí section: This section has a length of approximately 37 kilometers, and corresponds to a completely new way, involves the construction of 1 tunnel and two overpasses in Maceo exchangers. Likewise the construction of a series of structures of new bridges is contemplated.
Vegachí – Alto de Dolores: This section has a length of approximately 35 kilometers and corresponds to the construction of a completely new way. Within the scope envisaged is the construction of a tunnel and a level intersection in the Alto de Dolores.
Alto de Dolores – Puerto Berrio section: This section corresponds to an existing road, about 47 kilometers long, and the expected range is improved from the point of view geometric and pavement rehabilitation.
Puerto Berrio and Connection variant Ruta del Sol section: This section corresponds to the construction of the new road of Alternative Puerto Berrio, about 15 kilometers, including the construction of a new bridge over the Magdalena River with a length of approximately 1500 meters, plus a number of structures under bridges new. They included within the scope also building level intersections in connection with the existing road to Puerto Berrio.
The project also included the following Drainage Infrastructures: (i) Road surface drainage with the drainage of stormwater runoff; (ii) Subsurface drainage with the interception and disposal of groundwater flows; (iii) Erosion protection measures for the slopes.
